Roarbank RuPay Credit Card
Roarbank is a digital-first, lifetime-free RuPay credit card issued by Unity Small Finance Bank, integrating a credit card line, UPI payments, and a savings account into a single mobile application. Its primary feature is a customizable monthly cashback program: users choose two preferred spending categories each month (such as groceries, fuel, dining, or movies) to earn accelerated cashback advertised at up to 20%, subject to monthly category caps. Cashback is credited as direct cash rather than reward points. Operating on the RuPay network, the card seamlessly links with UPI applications for QR-based merchant payments, offers an interest-free credit cycle of up to 62 days (including a 3-day grace period), and requires no prior credit score for an instantly issued virtual card. Because the headline 20% cashback is subject to monthly caps and depends on category selection, realistic value is determined by active monthly category management.
Unity Bank BharatPe Credit Card
Unity Small Finance Bank built the BharatPe Credit Card around its partner app rather than a physical-first experience, offering it as a lifetime-free RuPay card. Billed as India's first EMI-driven credit card, it pays out unlimited 2% back in Zillion Coins whenever a spend is converted into EMI — tenures stretch up to 12 months, and there's no cap or category exclusion on the earning. The RuPay network means it can be linked into any UPI app for scan-and-pay use, and cardholders get up to 48 interest-free days. For a no-cost card the extras go further than expected: two complimentary international lounge visits each year through RuPay, plus a yearly health check-up. Zillion Coins can be redeemed inside the BharatPe app for vouchers or products, or used to knock up to ₹5,000 off the card bill. Since the 2% payout only kicks in on EMI-converted spends, the card is built to reward EMI users specifically, not those who clear their balance in full.
