Federal Bank issued the Fi-Federal card (branded Amplifi, Simplifi and Magnifi across its lifespan) in partnership with the Fi neobank app, and it earned a reputation for smooth in-app card management paired with Fi-Coins rewards. That programme no longer exists: Federal Bank pulled the plug on 20 March 2026, shutting off reward accrual and Fi-Coins redemption in one stroke and telling remaining cardholders to settle outstanding balances, redirect any auto-pay instructions elsewhere, and close out their accounts. Nobody can sign up for it anymore. Fi's credit-card tie-up now runs through AU Small Finance Bank, so anyone drawn to the Fi app experience should look at AU's current lineup, or consider a different entry-level card altogether.
