Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT
The Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT is the ₹1,499 middle rung of SBI's Landmark co-brand ladder. It earns 15 Reward Points per ₹100 (~3.75%) at Landmark stores — Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max, Spar, Baby Shop and EasyBuy — 10 per ₹100 on dining, movies and international spends and a thin 2 per ₹100 (~0.5%) elsewhere, where 4 points equal ₹1 and redeem instantly in-store. A 6,000-point welcome (₹1,500) covers the fee in year one, and a 12,000-point milestone (₹3,000) lands on ₹3 lakh annual spend. It has no lounge access — that sits on the PRIME variant — but includes a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, and carries no spend-based fee reversal.

✓ Pros
- 15 Reward Points per Rs.100 (~3.75%) at Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max, Spar, Baby Shop and EasyBuy
- 6,000 welcome points (Rs.1,500) plus 12,000 bonus points (Rs.3,000) on Rs.3 lakh annual spend
- Points redeem instantly in-store at Landmark brands at 4 points to the rupee
- Mid-tier Rs.1,499 fee — cheaper entry to Landmark rewards than the PRIME card
✕ Cons
- Rewards value only Rs.0.25 each and are most useful only at Landmark Group stores
- Base rate is a thin 2 RP per Rs.100 (~0.5%); fuel, rent, government, gaming, wallet and EMI earn nothing
- No lounge access — that sits on the PRIME variant; no spend-based fee reversal
- SBI's own two documents disagree here: the SELECT product page publishes no lounge benefit, but SBI's 10 Jan 2026 domestic-lounge revision notice lists Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT among the eligible cards. We follow the product page and do not credit any lounge value — confirm with SBI before assuming you have it

How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
🎁 Closed-loop only: convert Reward Points into Landmark Rewards (LMR) by calling the SBI Card helpline — 2.4 Reward Points = 1 LMR = Rs. 0.60, i.e. Rs. 0.25 a point
🎁 Spend the resulting Landmark Rewards in-store at Lifestyle, Home Centre, Spar, Max, Baby Shop and EasyBuy
🎁 A redemption fee of Rs. 99 plus GST applies below 1,000 points — enough to wipe out a small balance
What your SBI Reward Points are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.

The concern Rewards are worth only ₹0.25 each and useful mostly at Landmark stores, there's no lounge access, and the ₹1,499 fee has no spend-based reversal.
The bottom line
Representing the balanced mid-point in the Landmark co-brand portfolio, the SELECT variant offers stronger reward acceleration than the entry card at half the price of the PRIME. It easily recoups its cost for consistent Landmark Group shoppers, but those with varied retail habits or occasional store visits will find the 0.5% base return and partner-locked redemption structure overly limiting.

◆ Launch Effective 11 Nov 2025
Landmark Rewards SBI Card SELECT launched
SBI Card and Landmark Rewards launched a three-card co-brand ladder; SELECT is the ₹1,499 middle rung. It earns 15 Reward Points per ₹100 (~3.75%) at Landmark stores — Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max, Spar, Baby Shop and EasyBuy — 10 per ₹100 on dining, movies and international spends and 2 per ₹100 (~0.5%) elsewhere, where 4 points equal ₹1 and redeem instantly in-store. A 6,000-point welcome (₹1,500) and a 12,000-point milestone (₹3,000) at ₹3 lakh annual spend offset the fee; no lounge access and no spend-based fee reversal. Fuel, rent, government, gaming, wallet and EMI earn nothing from launch.

Portfolio fee revision (education and wallet-load fees added)
SBI Card's portfolio-wide fee revision added a 1% fee on education payments made through third-party apps and a 1% fee on every wallet load above Rs.1,000, alongside higher cash-payment, cheque-dishonour and cash-withdrawal charges. The MITC also carries a 1% Utility Payments Fee where utility spend exceeds Rs.50,000 in a billing cycle (from 1 Dec 2024) and a Rs.199 processing fee on every rent-payment transaction. Recorded here 2026-08-06; the change applied portfolio-wide but had only been carried on a single card file.

▼ Reward Effective 1 Sept 2025
Gaming and government spends stop earning
Reward Points earned → No Reward Points on digital gaming platforms or government transactions
SBI's customer notice dated 1 August 2025 states that from 1 September 2025, accrual of Reward Points on spends at Digital Gaming Platforms and Merchants, and on Government-related transactions, is discontinued for the Lifestyle Home Centre / Spar / Max SBI Credit Card and its SELECT and PRIME variants. Recorded here 2026-08-06. Note what the notice also shows: SBI already named all three tiers under the previous brand a full three months before the 11 November 2025 date our timeline carried as a launch, which is why that event is now described as a rebrand.
