Landmark Rewards SBI Card

Entry levelFee variesRewardsFuelTravelDining

The Landmark Rewards SBI Card is the ₹499 entry rung of SBI's Landmark co-brand ladder. It earns 10 Reward Points per ₹100 (~2.5%) at online and retail Landmark stores — Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max, Spar, Baby Shop and EasyBuy — 5 per ₹100 (~1.25%) on dining, movies and international spends, and a token 1 per ₹100 (~0.25%) on other retail, with points worth ₹0.25 each (4 RP = ₹1). A ₹500 welcome-points benefit effectively covers the fee, and 8,000 bonus points (₹2,000) land on ₹2 lakh of annual retail spend. It adds a 1% fuel surcharge waiver but has no lounge access and no spend-based fee reversal.

The bottom line

An accessible entry point into SBI Card's Landmark ecosystem, this card balances its modest ₹499 annual fee with a ₹500 joining bonus while returning ~2.5% at partner outlets and offering up to ₹2,000 through spend milestones. While it delivers straightforward utility for frequent Landmark shoppers, the meagre 0.25% non-partner earn rate and restricted redemption channels make it unsuitable as an all-purpose daily card.

◆ Launch Effective 11 Nov 2025

Landmark Rewards SBI Card launched

SBI Card and Landmark Rewards launched the Landmark Rewards SBI Card, the ₹499 entry rung of a fresh three-card co-brand ladder (SELECT at ₹1,499, PRIME at ₹2,999) — presented at the time as distinct from the older SBI–Landmark line, though SBI's own 1 August 2025 notice already names all three tiers under the previous Lifestyle / Home Centre / Spar / Max branding — so this is better read as a rebrand than a launch. It earns 10 Reward Points per ₹100 (~2.5%) at Landmark Group stores — Lifestyle, Home Centre, Max, Spar, Baby Shop and EasyBuy — 5 per ₹100 on dining, movies and international spends and 1 per ₹100 elsewhere (4 RP = ₹1, redeemed in-store), with a welcome benefit of 2,000 bonus Reward Points (worth ₹500) on payment of the annual fee, an 8,000-point (₹2,000) milestone at ₹2 lakh annual spend and a 1% fuel-surcharge waiver; fuel, rent, government, gaming, wallet and EMI earn nothing, and there is no lounge access or spend-based fee reversal.

▼ Fee Effective 1 Nov 2025

Portfolio fee revision (education and wallet-load fees added)

SBI Card's portfolio-wide fee revision added a 1% fee on education payments made through third-party apps and a 1% fee on every wallet load above Rs.1,000, alongside higher cash-payment, cheque-dishonour and cash-withdrawal charges. The MITC also carries a 1% Utility Payments Fee where utility spend exceeds Rs.50,000 in a billing cycle (from 1 Dec 2024) and a Rs.199 processing fee on every rent-payment transaction. Recorded here 2026-08-06; the change applied portfolio-wide but had only been carried on a single card file.

▼ Reward Effective 1 Sept 2025

Gaming and government spends stop earning

Reward Points earned → No Reward Points on digital gaming platforms or government transactions

SBI's customer notice dated 1 August 2025 states that from 1 September 2025, accrual of Reward Points on spends at Digital Gaming Platforms and Merchants, and on Government-related transactions, is discontinued for the Lifestyle Home Centre / Spar / Max SBI Credit Card and its SELECT and PRIME variants. Recorded here 2026-08-06. Note what the notice also shows: SBI already named all three tiers under the previous brand a full three months before the 11 November 2025 date our timeline carried as a launch, which is why that event is now described as a rebrand.
