HSBC Visa Signature Credit Card

Entry levelFee variesTravelDining

The HSBC Visa Signature was a ₹1,499 premium rewards card earning 5 reward points per ₹100 on dining, travel and online shopping (≈1.25% value), with 2 complimentary domestic lounge visits per quarter, golf access and the annual fee waived at ₹4 lakh spend. Note, though, that HSBC India no longer offers it as a standalone card — Times Prime and other Visa Signature privileges are now folded into the LIFETIME-FREE HSBC Visa Platinum, issued on the Visa Signature network for eligible customers. This entry is kept for existing holders and context. New applicants should take the free Platinum for the same Visa Signature perks, or the HSBC TravelOne for premium travel value with transferable miles.

The concern No longer offered as a standalone product, and points have no airline/hotel transfer partners — the free Platinum or the TravelOne are the live alternatives.

The bottom line

Chasing this card down today doesn't make much sense: HSBC has retired the standalone Visa Signature, and the Times Prime membership plus its other signature-tier perks now live on the free Platinum. Existing holders still have a capable earner — 5X on dining, travel and online spending. Anyone starting fresh, though, is better served by the Platinum (same benefits, zero cost) or the TravelOne if transferable miles matter more.
