Adani One ICICI Bank Platinum Credit Card
The Adani One ICICI Bank Platinum is the entry card of the Adani One co-brand. It earns 3 Adani Reward Points per ₹100 at ICICI's listed participating merchants — which, on ICICI's own published list, are the retail and food outlets inside Adani-managed airports — plus 1.5 per ₹100 on international spends and 1 per ₹100 on other domestic spend. An Adani Reward Point redeems at about ₹1 inside the Adani One app, so those rates really are about 3%, 1.5% and 1%. Utilities and insurance drop to 0.5 per ₹100, and fuel, rent, cash, EMI and wallet loads earn nothing at all. Joining benefits are a ₹2,000 flight voucher on ₹10,000 of spend in 60 days plus a ₹1,000 hotel voucher on activation, and the ₹750 fee waives at ₹3 lakh. The lifestyle perks are spend-gated: 2 airport lounge visits a quarter need ₹75,000 of spend in the previous quarter, and the BookMyShow offer needs ₹25,000. The real constraint is not the earn rate — it is that every point is trapped in one app.

✓ Pros
- 3 Adani Reward Points per ₹100 at Adani-airport merchants — a genuine 3% at ₹1 a point
- 1 point per ₹100 base is respectable for a ₹750 card, and international spend earns 1.5
- ₹3,000 of joining vouchers and a ₹750 fee that waives at ₹3 lakh
- Adani-airport lifestyle perks (porter, valet, premium parking, lounge upgrades)
✕ Cons
- Points redeem only inside the Adani One app — no transfer, no statement credit, no cash-out
- Accrued points are forfeited if the card is closed or not renewed
- The 3-point accelerator applies at merchants inside Adani-managed airports, not to Adani Gas or Adani Electricity bills, which earn the 0.5 utility rate
- Lounge and movie perks are gated behind ₹75,000 and ₹25,000 of quarterly spend

How to redeem rewards
Ways to convert what you earn into real value.
🎁 Adani One app: flights, hotels, duty-free, cabs, train/bus and parking, with 100% of a booking payable in points. (₹1.00/point)
🎁 Use the ₹2,000 welcome flight voucher and ₹1,000 hotel voucher toward Adani One bookings
What your ICICI Reward Points are worth
Realistic value per point by redemption route — the difference is what most people leave on the table.
Statement credit BEST 1 RP = ₹0.40 against the statement — ICICI's only published rate
Amazon / Flipkart vouchers BEST Voucher store; ICICI publishes only an 'up to ₹1' ceiling, never a realised rate
iShop flights & hotels BEST iShop travel; rate is set per card at checkout, so the ₹1 ceiling is not a value
The concern The currency, not the rate. Adani Reward Points redeem only inside the Adani One app — flights, hotels, duty-free, cabs and parking — with no transfer, statement credit or cash-out, and they are forfeited outright if the card is closed. The lounge and movie perks also sit behind ₹75k and ₹25k of quarterly spend.
The bottom line
The arithmetic on this card holds up better than its reputation suggests, even if liquidity is where it falls short. With each point worth roughly ₹1, the 3-per-₹100 airport accelerator really does deliver 3%, and the 1-per-₹100 base rate is a genuine 1% — solid numbers for a card carrying just a ₹750 fee. The catch is scope: the accelerated rate only applies at merchants inside Adani-managed airports, and every point earned can only be redeemed inside the Adani One app. Anyone who rarely or never travels through an Adani terminal ends up holding what is effectively a 1% card with rewards that are awkward to actually spend.

Domestic lounge access gated behind Rs 75,000/quarter spend
Unconditional (2 visits/quarter, no spend requirement) → Requires Rs 75,000 spend in the previous quarter
Unconditional lounge access was the Adani One card's standout differentiator — while most ICICI cards had required Rs 75,000/quarter since the November 2024 restructure, the Adani (and MakeMyTrip) co-brands stayed exempt. That ended on 1 July 2026: the Platinum's 2 domestic lounge visits per quarter now require Rs 75,000 of eligible spend in the previous calendar quarter (rent, education, government, fuel and similar spends are excluded from that total), putting the perk out of reach for lighter spenders.

BookMyShow movie benefit becomes spend-gated
Movie discount available unconditionally → Requires Rs 25,000 spend in the previous quarter
Under ICICI's 15 Jan 2026 revision the Platinum's BookMyShow movie offer (25% off up to Rs 100, twice a month) is unlocked — with Apr-Jun 2026 the first gated quarter — only if the cardholder spent at least Rs 25,000 in the preceding calendar quarter — spending in one quarter earns the benefit for the next. It moves the perk from unconditional to spend-gated, part of ICICI's 2026 portfolio devaluation.

New wallet, gaming and currency-conversion transaction fees
No wallet-load / gaming / DCC surcharge → Wallet-load, gaming and DCC fees added
As part of ICICI's portfolio-wide 2026 fee revision, from 15 January 2026 a 1% fee applies on third-party wallet loads of Rs 5,000 or more, a 2% fee on gaming/skill-gaming platforms, and a dynamic-currency-conversion (DCC) markup on international transactions billed in rupees. These charges are universal across ICICI cards, including the Adani One Platinum.

Cashback on the American Express variant withdrawn
Amex variant carried cashback offers → Cashback offers revoked
The Adani One ICICI cards are issued on more than one network, and the American Express variant originally carried cashback offers. ICICI withdrew those cashback offers effective 1 January 2025; the underlying Adani Reward Points earn and the upfront BookMyShow discount were unaffected, so the impact fell only on cardholders holding the Amex rail.

◆ Launch Effective 3 Jun 2024
Adani One ICICI Platinum launched — India's first airport-linked co-brand card
Adani One and ICICI Bank launched India's first credit cards with airport-linked benefits on 3 June 2024, on the Visa network, in two variants — the entry-level Platinum and the premium Signature. The Platinum earns Adani Reward Points across the Adani ecosystem (Adani-managed airports, the Adani One app, Trainman, Adani Gas and Adani Electricity) with a marketing headline of "up to 7% Adani Reward Points" — the Platinum's own rate is 3 Adani Reward Points per Rs 100 at participating merchants (about 3%, since an Adani Reward Point redeems at about Rs 1), 1.5 per Rs 100 international and 1 per Rs 100 otherwise. It carried a Rs 750 fee (waived at Rs 3 lakh), a Rs 2,000 welcome flight voucher plus a Rs 1,000 hotel voucher on activation, 2 unconditional domestic lounge visits per quarter, a BookMyShow movie offer and Adani-airport lifestyle perks (porter, valet, premium parking, lounge upgrades). Points redeem only inside the Adani One app.
